2021 MCCA Golf Outing & Chef Toby Classic-
Please join us for the 2021 Michigan Chefs de Cuisine Annual Golf Outing and Chef Toby Classic. This event will be held Monday, May , 2021 at Meadowbrook Country Club, Northville, MI, hosted by Mark Dixon, CEC, Executive Chef and the staff of Meadowbrook Country Club.

Purpose and Proceeds
All proceeds will go to the Michigan Chefs de Cuisine Educational Institute, MCCAEI and the Tobin Looman Foundation, which also awards scholarships to Professional Members of the MCCA. The MCCAEI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that annually distributes scholarships to our member student and professional chefs for:
- Introductory Education
- Continuing Education
- Hands-On Skills Training
- Professional Development
- Certification and Recertification
- Regional and National Awards and Competitions
Golf Outing Schedule
This year’s outing will begin with a continental breakfast, an 18-hole, 4-person scramble with cart, lunch at the turn, and beverages on the course. We’ll finish the outing with an awards reception including heavy hors d’oeuvres, a full buffet dinner complete with carving stations. The outing also includes extensive raffle prizes, a silent auction, 50/50 and golf awards for first and second place foursomes, long drives, closest-to-the-pin, hole-in-one contests and the popular Knowledge Bowl, testing our chefs culinary knowledge.
Dress Code: Meadowbrook Country Club requires country club attire (collared shirt, spikeless golf shoes and no jeans). Meadowbrook Country Club has graciously allowed the MCCA use of its shower and locker room facilities after golf, should you need it.
Golf Outing Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – Continental breakfast and registration. Driving range open
10:00 a.m. – Shotgun start – RAIN OR SHINE
11:30 a.m. – Lunch at the turn
2:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony, raffle, auction, 50/50 and heavy hors d’oeuvres, full dinner buffet and carving stations
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to bring my printed tickets to the event? Yes. Tickets are required for entry, either printed or displayed on your mobile device.
What’s the refund policy? Refunds available up to 7 days before event. No refunds or exchanges after 7 days prior to the event date. All sales are final.
The events will proceed rain or shine. Should the golf outing be effected by extreme or hazardous weather, the event will be postponed and rescheduled. Original tickets will be honored.
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Tickets may be transferred or resold at no more than face value. If tickets are transferred, we require the names of the new ticket owners so we may keep an accurate list of dinner attendees and golfers. It is the responsibility of the original ticket owner to notify us of the ticket transfer or resale.
