2017 Annual Golf Outing and Chef of the Year Awards Gala

Monday, October 9th, 2017 at Country Club of Detroit

Please join us for the 2017 Annual MCCA Golf Outing and Chef of the Year Awards Gala. Both events will take place on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Country Club of Detroit, hosted by Brian Beland, CMC, Executive Chef/Director of Food & Beverage at Country Club of Detroit. Dinner is presented by 2016 MCCA and ACF Central Region Chef of the Year Chris Johnson, chef/owner at The Meeting House in Rochester Hills. Dessert course by 2016 Pastry Chef of the Year, Ben Robison, Executive Pastry Chef from The Morrie, Royal Oak. All net proceeds will benefit the MCCA Education Fund.

This year's combined event will begin with a continental breakfast, an 18-hole, 4-person scramble with cart, lunch, and beverages on the course. We'll finish the outing with an awards reception including heavy hors d'oeuvres, raffle prizes, auction, 50/50 and golf awards for first and second place foursomes, long drives, closest-to-the-pin, hole-in-one contests and the Knowledge Bowl. Country Club of Detroit requires country club attire (collared shirt, spikeless golf shoes and no jeans). Country Club of Detroit has graciously allowed the MCCA use of its shower and locker room facilities after golf. Dinner attire: Black tie and formal wear are optional but requested; business dress with coat and tie are required.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR REGISTRATION:
  • Tickets for golf and dinner are very limited and in extremely high demand. If you plan on attending, please don't wait to send in your registration. We cannot guarantee any last minute tickets. Do it as soon as possible. All tickets must be paid in advance. We will not accept ticket payments at the door.
  • Register by August 31st for a 20% discount.
  • Chapter members, award nominees, competitors, chapter officers, board members, committee members, vendors, sponsors and their guests will receive primary consideration for all available tickets until the discount deadline of August 31st. Past this date, it will be first-come, first-served for any remaining tickets.
  • Please fully complete your registration form available for download above. We need the names and complete contact information (including emails) for every single person that will be attending whether they are your guest, or they are paying for themselves. Incomplete forms may result in your sale being deleted and your money returned. If need be, names may be changed prior to the event.
  • You have the following options to complete and submit the registration form:
    • Download and open the registration form PDF using the free Adobe Reader software, available HERE. Complete the form using the fields provided in the PDF, save the finished document, and return it to Brian Lorge at bflorge@gmail.com.
    • Print, scan and return the completed registration form to Brian Lorge at bflorge@gmail.com
    • Print and mail the completed registration form to the address shown on the form.
  • You will receive a confirmation email on receipt of your completed reservation and sponsorships form. Any missing information will be requested. Again, primary consideration will go to those that properly complete the form with the required information.
  • We will prefer checks but of course accept all credit cards. This helps us save on credit card processing fees.
